Getting to know TPKRT: Episode 5: Arundhati Neca No, you're not seeing things. Yes, its the guys' toilet.

Mwehehe.

Before you think of her as 'Just another girl member', you need to know that she can run the reservoir in around 26 mins. At a jog.

That beats some of your timings flat, guys.

And it wasn't one round of the reservoir - It was about 9km, which took about 50 mins. You guys should try that with her someday. =D

She's also our resident beautician...

She never forgets a birthday-

If i were to associate a quality with each of the seniors, so far you've seen Humility (Weijie), Perseverance (Sam) , Resilience (Damien).

Arun would be represented by Determination.

Her first reservoir timing took more than 35 minutes. Nearly 40. As you can see, everybody has to start somewhere.

Try to run with her now. In fact, she will ask you out to go running. hyuk hyuk.

When we went for our Round Ubin Recce trip about a month back, she wasn't able to control the boats we used (bandits) and went spinning round and round (and probably broke the record for spinning in circles. Ballet on the sea. Hawkshawks.)

Before you one-star or two-star holders start raising your eyebrows, consider that we were travelling for 22km.

On the day itself, she wasn't able to complete the full 22km. (and had to rest on coach's powerboat. )

But in the next one month that followed....

Well, its easy to SAY, but DOING is another thing. I know for a fact that Arun DID do it, because i was running with her.

Take into consideration that Arun is a design school student- her timetable spans from 9am to 6pm everyday, yet she still made effort to come down to training for the round ubin race.

As a result of all that training, she bagged the 5th place in women's k1 category, much as she was convinced that she would come in last.

Good job Arun!

But if you ever need a Maria.....

You can always call on our resident Arun, who does so many jobs. Haha..

Who also doubles as a photographer. So if you don't want to be caught on film in various funny positions...

Currently, she's busy on her final project, which is the most important part of her first academic year here.

Which is a reminder to us that we should not neglect what were are in this school for- work hard, play hard, study hard- train hard - a TP Kayak Racer.

But the junior guys on the team, you better work hard or she's gonna own you when she comes back.
